Now once you have really thought it over, if you know that you want to go ahead and get an Applehead Chihuahua, it is really now just a matter of you being able to find an appropriate breeder. Again you are going to want to keep your cool and not rush out and buy the first puppy like this that you find. Instead, there are a few different ways that you can go about finding a breeder that is reputable and qualified. Stay away from the bad breeders who breed their dogs in masses and who really only are interested in breeding for the monetary gain. To find a breeder, the best way to get started is to talk to your veterinarian. They are going to discuss with you the different options that you have and let you know what you should and should not be doing here.

Make sure that you never find a breeder in a newspaper ad. If you want to get an Applehead Chihuahua and do it the safe way, then you are not going to find any good breeders in the newspaper, because the good breeders just don’t sell their dogs this way.

Now once you have found a breeder, all you really have to do is make sure that you get ready everything that you are going to need before your Applehead Chihuahua comes home. You will have to get them a food and water bowl, some food, treats, toys to keep them busy, and of course a collar and a leash. Also make sure that your house is prepared for the dog to come home. Don’t leave any shoes or other valuable items out, at least for the first little while.
