Dogs are more like people than a lot of us realize, and it is important to find a place for your dog to sleep that is specially made for him and that will keep him happy. However, sometimes no matter what kind of place you make for your dog, he will chew on it and destroy it and cause a lot of frustration. So how do you go about finding a no chew dog bed for your dog?

What Do Dogs Chew?

In order to really find a no chew dog bed for your dog you first have to look at the different types of things that dogs usually chew on. The list is pretty much endless; they will chew on wood, they will chew on wicker or straw baskets, and they will chew on plastic. One of the best ways to do this is to have him sleep on a pillow type dog bed that only goes on the floor. You can get raised up pillows so the dog won’t be cold and will be out of the way, but it should all be made up of the pillow material so that the dog isn’t tempted to chew it.
